Nitrous Oxide Infrared Gas Sensors 

In order to optimise accuracy and resolution, our Nitrous Oxide (N2O) sensors are characterised during manufacture to cover specific gas ranges according to customer requirements. 
The LOW RANGE version provides high resolution measurement of Nitrous Oxide over the range 0 to 1% or 1000ppm. Up to 2 seperate measurement ranges can be configured within the sensor. 
For example, a sensor could be configured as follows: 
 
Range 1 = 0-1%. 
Range 3 = 0-1000ppm.

The sensors are part of the 'Platinum' Series and are available in Industrial Ex d IIC Certified, Mining M1 Certified and Non-Certified versions. They are also UL approved. 
 
 

Nitrous Oxide Infrared Gas Sensors (Standard) 

These Nitrous Oxide (N2O) infrared gas sensors measure Nitrous Oxide gas over the range 0-1% Volume. 
 
They are part of the Standard 'Gold' Series of sensors and are available in Industrial Ex d IIC Certified, Mining M1 Certified and Non-Certified versions. They are also UL approved. 
 
These sensors provide a 'raw' signal output which needs to be be fed into external processing electronics and software. This may either be provided by the equipment manufacturer or by use of a purpose-designed OEM-1Circuit Board (see below) available from Dynament Ltd.

The sensor order codes commence with the code MSH-N2O/TC for 'Ex' Certified types or MSH-N2O/NC/TC for 'Non-Ex' types followed by code letters for the options below:- 
 
F - Self-adhesive 14 Micron PTFE filter for water ingress protection. 
I - An electrically isolated case.
