Carbon Dioxide Infrared Gas Sensors 

In order to optimise accuracy and resolution, our Carbon Dioxide (CO2) sensors are characterised during manufacture to cover specific gas ranges according to customer requirements. 

The LOW RANGE version provides high resolution measurement of Carbon Dioxide over the range 0 to 5% volume. Up to 3 seperate measurement ranges can be configured within the sensor, two of the ranges can be optionally set to auto-range. 

 

For example, a sensor could be configured as follows: 

 

Range 1 = 0-1%. 

Range 2 = 0-5%. 

Range 3 = 0-5000ppm. 

Ranges 1 and 2 can be auto-ranging. 

 

The MID RANGE version measures up to 10% volume using a single range. 

 

The HIGH RANGE version measures up to 100% volume using a single range.

The sensors are part of the 'Platinum' Series and are available in Industrial Ex d IIC Certified, Mining M1 Certified and Non-Certified versions. They are also UL approved. 

 

Low power and EN50271 / SIL1 certified software versions are also available in all combinations.
