Summary

A combined High Resolution Methane (Hydrocarbon) and Carbon Dioxide sensor providing accurate measurement of gas levels using infrared gas sensing techniques. Various versions are available with combinations of ranges up to 100% Volume Methane (CH4) and 5% Volume Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

The sensor also provides simultaneous readings for both High Resolution Methane and Propane.

Features

  1. Combines all the features of the well-proven range of Premier hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide sensors, enabling the accurate measurement of both methane and carbon dioxide gas levels in one compact sensor.
  2. Contains all the necessary optics, electronics and firmware to provide THREE linearised, temperature-compensated measurements:-
    1. Methane
    2. Propane
    3. Carbon Dioxide
  3. The storage of multiple calibration, temperature compensation and linearisation data enables simultaneous readings from the hydrocarbon channel for High Resolution Methane AND 0-2% Volume Propane.
  4. Digital output for direct interface to host circuitry.
  5. Reduces gas detector power consumption for the infrared sensors by half.
  6. Gives increased operating time for battery powered instruments.
  7. Operating temperature range -20°C to + 50°C.
