New Range of 'Standard' Sensors Announced for Extended Temperature Applications

Dynament are pleased to announce a new range of miniature plug-in infrared gas sensors to replace the current range of "Standard" sensors. These sensors offer the following features:

  1. Extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C.
  2. Superior performance from -20°C to +50°C when compared to the "Standard" sensor ranges.
  3. Direct replacement for the current "Standard" sensor ranges.
  4. Optional, integral anti-condensation heater.
  5. Reduced baseline temperature dependency when compared to "Standard" sensor ranges.
  6. Excellent baseline repeatability after temperature cycling.
  7. Minimum device to device temperature dependency variation.
  8. Housing and internal optical paths constructed from stainless steel.
  9. Encapsulated construction for maximum mechanical stability.

This new product range represents a technological advance over the current "Standard" range; it is therefore Dynament's intention to phase-out the old range over a period of time. There will be no change in the sensor prices. Existing users of the current products are welcome to request samples for evaluation, and where appropriate these will be supplied free of charge. Dual-Gas Infrared Sensor

These 'Premier' IR sensors simultaneously provide digital gas readings in the ranges:-

  1. 0-10% volume Methane
  2. 0-100% volume Methane
  3. 0-2% volume Propane
  4. 0-5% volume Carbon Dioxide

Features:-

  1. EN50271 compliant
  2. SIL1 rated

A version with 0-100% CO2 will also be produced.

Extended Low Temperature Range Infrared Gas Sensor

A range of 'Premier' sensors suitable for operation from -40°C to +50°C. The performance of every sensor is verified over the full operating temperature range.

CSA Performance Compliant Premier Sensors

CSA Compliant Infrared Gas Sensor

These 'Premier' sensors are designed for accurate operation from -40°C to +75 °C. Their performance over this temperature range, along with their t50 and t90 response times, will enable users to achieve Certification to CSA standard 22.2 No. 152.
